Dynamic Glass Products, LLC is a leading North American supplier of Photochromic Solar Performance window film, PDLC switchable privacy glass and PDLC switchable privacy film.

PDLC is the abbreviated term for a type of liquid crystal technology known as Polymer Dispersed Liquid Crystals. In its off-state (with no power applied), PDLC film is opaque, with the molecules of liquid crystal droplets suspended in the polymer matrix to deflect light. The film may then be switched to become transparent in its on-state (with power applied), with the liquid crystal droplets aligning themselves to allow transmittance of light through the film.

PDLC (or LC: Liquid Crystal) film can be adhered to glass surfaces or laminated inside of glass panels allowing significant control over light transmittance, display, privacy and temperature.

LC film is sold in multiple market verticals and local sales and installation efforts will be required. As such, Dynamic Glass Products, Inc will partner with distributors in local markets to sell, install and support the product.

The LC film is sold in to the commercial and residential construction markets, as well as the automotive, RV, ship building, retail, healthcare and entertainment markets. It is highly suitable for retro-fit applications and for new construction. The product can be used for privacy screening, high definition rear-projection display, minimizing solar heat gain, glare control, UV light blocking, and increasing the energy efficiency of buildings.

Photochromic Solar Performance window film is a transitional window film that applies directly to your existing glass. Photochromic film tints darker during daylight hours (when UV light is present), then transitions back to a clearer state when it is dark out. DGP’s Photochromic window film has superior solar performance specs and will block a significant amount of UV, IR, Total Solar Energy and glare during daylight hours, then will passively turn back to a clearer state at night. This film will protect you and your furnishings from harmful UV light and will help keep you cooler by blocking solar heat…while still allowing crystal clear views. Unlike LC switchable privacy film, Photochromic film does not require electrical hook-up because it reacts to the amount of UV light hitting it.
